mr. simon, the mulatto woman is both black and white,thus jungle fever cannot be applied to interpret her preference of white males or black males. if her father is black, and she prefers black males, one can interpret such preference in terms of alectra complex; and the same would be said if the father were white. sometimes, indiduals make choices without psychological preponderences. as sigmund freud had famously said, sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar! you are a big fan frantz fannon, arent you? his philosophy is very interesting but, you cannot apply it in all cases of interracial romance.
