My Fellow Haitians and Friends of Haiti:
The elections of October and November of 2005 will decide the future of Haiti. The people of Haiti are tired of the insecurity, the violence and the misery. The people of Haiti are tired of the crisis that has now lasted almost fifty years (1957-2005).
During that time, the Haitian Diaspora has been sending more than one billion dollars per year to Haiti with no significant impact on the economy of the country. The people of Haiti are now awaiting political direction from the Diaspora to create a Haiti hospitable to all.
OLAHH is calling on all Haitians to take up the legacy of Jean Jacques Dessalines: unity, fraternity and solidarity to maintain the jewel that shows to the world that black men and women are children of God endowed with love, compassion and aspiration.
Herewith is our plan to create the new Haiti. Will you help with your contribution, your participation and your vote? The challenge is at hand. Victory is within reach!
