Observer Keen, an army is necessary to a country, reason why every country in the world has an army, I presented to you my reasons for HAVING an army, you avoid the subject by insisting that I want to reinstate the old army while I clearly presented a new army; one who could develop our youth and our country and at least present a line of defense for our territory, I would like to know what you would propose in case relations were to get worse with the Dominican Republic as they are not getting any better and given that there have been talks that their army could actually set foot on our soil, after all they already sent a helicopter inti our air space without our consent in Feb/March 2004 and of course what did we have to at least make pretend that they had something to fear? -NOTHING! I don't suppose you would ask civilians with absolutly no training to defend the country. By the way FYI, it was Stenio Vincent who was our commander in chief, not Elie Lescot, when the Dominicans committed the massacre; if you don't believe me you can always check on the internet.
