For people like me. Dual citizenship would be the first priority.

But we need to put aside our immediate personal needs for now and address real issues with a real president.

The Army is a very important institution to consider.

And the reason is simple.

With A man like the actual Dominican president:

Fernandez.

We should act as soon as possible.

I have learned that Fernandez had the Dominican Army helicopters on Haitian's space the day of the election.

I am very upset and even think that we should bring this before the United Nations.

I have also learned that everyday Domonican soldiers are crossing our borders to beat up Haitians living close to the border.

We also need to avoid practicing exclusion such as not hiring former Army soldiers and officers.

Keep in mind that not all members of the Army were bad people.

We had honest military officers such as:

Gen. Herad Abraham, Colonel Silva and so forth.

And even Aristide is still alive because of good military officers such as colonel Qualo and others who saved his life in St Jean Bosco in 1985 and 1987.

As I always say:

If the Dominicans have an army, we should have one. We cannot share a piece of land with a neighbor that has a gun while we only have a knife.
In addition, the army in a fith world country such as Haiti can be a real engine of development if well used.

For our new army, we will need more engineers and doctors to help around the country.

The advantage in using the army to rebuild the country is that when an army engineer is working on a project for example, it is an order not a simple task.

But a civilian engineer can abondon a project at any moment for non-payment or better opportunity but a military engineer cannot do it. I hope you see the urgency of bringing back our army with knowledgeable army officers and soldiers.
