With almost 2/3 of the votes counted, Preval does not have the necessary 51% to win straight.
Notice that the constitution states 51% of the total valid votes, not 50% + 1 vote. 1% of 3 million is 30,000. Right now, everything else remaining equal, Preval would need about 15 to 20,000 more votes to win in the first round.
I think by the end of the night, we'll have the final results. Que no te vuelvas loco Simoncito!
