Questions to Mr. [email protected]

Dear Haitian brothers and sisters,

Please find the letter I sent to Mr. Charles Henry Baker at his [email protected] and his [email protected]

Dear Mr. Baker,

Just like I apologized to Mr. Guy Philippe, I beg you to accept the same apologies for addressing you in English, for my French is elementary and I have not spoken it for a while.

Therefore, please accept this note in English as no insolence to you or your person or the organization or political party that you represent.

Mr. Baker, how I picked your name among the Candidates to run for the most powerful office in Haiti goes like this:

Considered that you are among the most popular Candidates who want to represent the great people of Haiti, I created a pool of candidates, wrote each their names on pieces of papers, folded them and placed them in a shoe box.

Here are the names:

Yourself, Mr. Baker, Charles Henry; Mr.Bazin, Marc Louis; Mr. Manigat, Leslie Francois; Mr. Mourra, Samir Georges; Mr. Paul, Evans; Mr.Phillippe, Guy; Mr. Preval, Rene Garcia; Mr. Simeus, Dumarsais; Mr. Toussaint, Dany and finally, I also included Ms. Roy, Judie Joe C. Marie, the only Haitian woman, among all who want to represent their Haitian brothers and sisters as the next president of our Beloved Haiti.

The shoe box was closed, shook and opened (this would be done until after a name would be picked and will continue until any name would be picked twice).

The name of the candidate would be picket at random.

Once picked, the paper would be folded and placed in the box. Once a candidate is picked twice, he would be put on the spot.

This time, the procedure was repeated for an infantile four times and the results were:

Mr. Manigat, then Mr. Baker, then Mr. Bazin, and then you, Mr. Baker.

Today, since you are the lucky one to be picked on as a result of my non-scientific method, the questions would go to you.

Mr. Baker, kindly bear in mind that I am not a reporter, as I am not presenting myself as one, I have no political affiliations, however, I am another Haitian, just like yourself, all the other candidates and all Haitians in the world who would want the best of his or her country, Haiti.

Sir, if you would, answer these few questions, considering the tough situations:

As we all know, since the past two years, Haitians have been treated worse than pigs in the Dominican Republic. The current administration in Haiti has not done anything to help any of Haitis children in the DR.

As the democratically elected president of Haiti, what would you do to make sure that Haitians are well treated in the eastern part of the island by the natives, there?

As we all Haitian brothers and sisters are aware, President Aristide justifiably disbanded the Haitian Armed Forces which were the main basis of oppression of Haiti and Her children. To the satisfactions of our people, the abolition of the Armed Forces left Haiti unprotected from what seems to be a very agitated Dominican Army, which could probably be trained by the CIA. In any case of an invasion of our Homeland, the DR Armies would destroy an unprotected Haiti and her children to their satisfactions of occupation or annexation.

As the next president of the Haiti, would you consider reestablishing a NEW Haitian Armed Forces?

Who would train that New and inexperienced Armed Forces.?

Or, would you prefer to establish Haiti as a neutral but sovereign nation under all International Laws or Treaties?

Respectfully,

Max Sanchez-Martinez
