On a Positive Note - Part 15 of 50 - by G. Simon

"On a Positive Note" (Part 15 of 50)

Preval must emphasize a lot on sponsorship and adoption of the underprivileged Haitians during his inaugural speech.

The needy Haitians that are beeing called derogatory names such "Chimere", "Ratpakaka", Cocorat" deserve some attention. These Haitians are people too. We should see in them doctors, engineers, system analysts, architect, lawyers, Senators, Congressmembers, Prime Ministers, Presidents, international superstars entertainers like Wyclef Jean, great artist like Picasso, etc...

Let's elevate our people!

Let's ascend them to greatness!

Let's give them the upward mobility that they deserve.

As they say "A mind is a terrible thing to waste".

Let's not demean our own. Haitians are proud people, smart people, determined people, nice people.

Let the bright side of us shine!

let's light up Haiti with good deeds where we can all be proud to participate in a program of sponsoring and adoption of the beloved children of Haiti.

Since Preval has a lot in his plate, if he does not emphasize on the need of such a program, I, G. Simon along with other devoted people will promote this program, and it will be a success; then when we die, we will leave a legacy of postive actions that the new and the future generations will be able to build on.

(To be continued)

Coming next "On a Positive Note" (Part 16 of 50) Continuation of what President-Elect Preval should say during his inauguration.

Peace and reconciliation

G. Simon
