First of all, Haiti is a country not a state of the U.S.you are asking too much from the U.S.in term of relationship. The U.S.is not in the business of babysitting any country. We are in trouble, because we always expect too much from other countries. Just like we have the right to receive money and aid from other countries around the world.

You have mention racism as the obstacle to our development. This is not true.We are again responsible for our own problems. We all want to be president to do someting for our country. When Aristide's terms ended in 1997, why didn't he go back to "Fanmi Selavi to help more children?

no, he has to be president again, this is the only way he can help. Look at our political leaders, they have been chief of their political parties for years, they never let another member from their political party run as president, never, just like they are the only valuable person of their party.

In reference to the U.S Embassador, I have to tell you that he is more than right about Aristide. He did not know Aristide before.Which means there is nothing personal between him and Aristide, he has learned everything he knows from Aristide's records. You may not know, or you may try to close your eyes on certain things, but let me tell you that the U.S> authorities are being very kind with Aristide So far. Because the DEA has everything in hand to keep Aristide behind bars for the rest of his life. And if the Supreme Court of Haiti was not a lavalas-bound supreme court, Aristide Would have much more to deal with, starting with political executions to using the land of Toussaint Louverture as a transit for drug trafficking. And if you want to know more ask Fourel Celestin, the famous powdered-senator of Jacmel who has built a great fortune in powder and corruption. Do not be passionate, be very realistic. In 1985, when I was still in High School student and a member of the youth catholic group called "The Merge" I used to like Aristide for his sermons until I see clear and understand his sickness for crime, corruption and power. Remember you make Aristide who he is, but Aristide cannot make you who you are (A proud citizen of Haiti).
