To tell you the truth, I am really proud of my countrymen/women as well.
If we were like that since after the fall of Baby doc, we would have had a country by now.
To answer your question,
We have some back dated laws that are now obsolete.
The law is like a blue print of how we should live in a civil society.
from time to time it should be amended to solve a problem
What happend in Haiti, everytime the law is amended, it's done against the people.
This is the only place as far as I know that it's laws are against the better of it's citizen.
That is why I am chosing Mr Semeus, Armand P. Dr.Borgella and charles.
We need someone who can cross the bridge From Papa Doc to after Aristid.someone who can make them forget that fifty odd years.
The people need new laws and a government that will obey it.
My generation is already toxicated with bribes and everything that comes with it.
From papa doc Haitians have been taught that the only way to make it is in government, lawyer and doctor.
We need someone that will change that.
Someone that will teach them that
Mechanic, Welding, sewing, truck driving, bus driving, taxi driving garbage pick-up septic cleaner etc are great ways of making a living as well.
If our young start to believe that there is something else then government jobs, we will stop having the problem that we've had since papa doc. (ignorants killing people for government's party or place)
