professor, are you governed by reason or emotionalism? you are not a reactive machine, then why are being manipulated by the tactics of a possible reverse psychology? the comments made about baker do not in any objective way change mr baker's character or lack of it. thus, voting or not voting for a man cannot be solely and reasonably based on personal critics, favorable or unfavorable.
haiti is not an experiment, one's vote ought not to be justified by "let's give him a chance".
that is not an intelligent response as expected from
a college professor.
every man or woman should be scrutinized if he or she aspires to reach the highest echelon of our executive branch.
two bad individuals can go to war without either one being a good person.
for instance, the illicit drug cartels in columbia would generally interconflict, does it mean that the defeat of x cartel by y cartel is a noble deed? just because baker and apaid fought against aristid, that does not in any logical way make them noble individuals for a self-serving motivation may have been at play.
after all, aristid is known to have favored the vorbes and the meuz at the expense of the baker and the apaid.
in other words, a self-serving is quite within the realm of possibility.
in fact, i believe that the GNB was more about special interest than it was about an honest demand for democracy.
if it were not, then the vocals would remain as vocal as before, not so silent as today.
