What Is Really In The Treaty - By G. Simon

Home > Haiti Elections Archives 2005 Forum > Rene Preval > What is really in the Treaty - by G. Simon

This is what Concerned Citizen wrote:

"When the government of Haiti cannot sign
any bi-lateral contract and/or agreement with any other country without the approval of MINUSTAH, I call that being under tutelage, being a protectorate, and having loss one's sovereignty, period."

This is what I, G. Simon, have to say:

Remember that I was the first one in this forum that warned you about Haiti becoming a protectorate.

If what Concerned Citizen says above is true, then Latortue has sold the country to foreigners.

Again, I haven't read the treaty.

I heard Latortue on the radio talking about the Haitian Police Force under the supervision of the U.N. while it's being reformed.

If the treaty is only about reforming the Police Force, I am 100% with it.

If someone has the entire treaty, please post it here.
