As a haitian american female who has served in the U.S. marine Corps, i am proud to hear that my country of birth went through this election without any incidents. It is time that Haitians all over the world unite and support the new President of Haiti. Other countries have been looking down on us for too long. I have a daughter who i would love to take to haiti to see my birthplace. Haiti can come back to the days when tourists were plentiful and we should help to promote tourism by speaking good things about our country.
