Why doesn't Preval simply go on the radio and tell everyone to calm down? That's all he has to do. I'd have no problem with Preval as president but his inaction is showing either A) poor leadership, or B) he's inciting the protests.
If he's who these masses want, he knows they'd listen to him. It's only making him look bad by remaining silent.
