you are wrong again, the state department supported preval more than it supported the other guys.

he was invited to many meetings that the other guys weren't invited to.
washington has been distancing itself from the opposition ever since the reports of violation of human rights started making frontpage in international news.
washington already says that it would not allow an opposition to derail democracy in haiti.

in fact, aids to IRI for haiti has been reduced amidst the allegations of abuses by stanley lucas.
