To Jan Batis -- From G. Simon

Jan Batis,

Your analysis of the Haitian economy under Aristide is very awkward and misleading.

Aristide encouraged the diaspora to invest in Haiti which resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of investment in the Republic.

Aristide made great effort at attracting Capital investment.

Aristide demonopolized the concentration of businesses in the hands of a few Greedy Vampires who never pay taxes anyway.

Aristide refused to privatize the public assets, and I agree with him. In the U.S. for instance the Post Offices belong to the government.

If someone wants to compete with the government that's fine.

That's why there are DSL, UPS, Federal Express, etc...

they are all private mail delivery services.

Aristide welcomed parallel competitions, which is what a free market society should do. No goverments should be pressured by Bush to liquidate its assets.

That's called the "The Death Sentence of a Nation".

Now let me say a few words about Jack Abramoff, This guy is a lobbyist who functions like a mobster.

Abramoff is a conservative Republican Orthodox Jew. Since Bush has been in office, there has been a new wave of arrogant Republican crooks such as Tom Delay, Scooter Libby, Cunningham, Bob Ney, Jack Abramoff, etc...

I think new jails should be built in Guantanamo to incarcerate these Republican crooks.

Bush is on the verge of being impeached if the trend continues.

I can see Watergate/Nixon in the horizon
