I hope we can can keep this discussion moving in a civilized way. I never have to result to name calling to make my point, unlike many in this forum who are leaping and jumping in the band wagon of nostalgia. Most scientific surveys indicate that the vast majority of haitians wants to be integrated into the international community because their leaders have failed them for some 200 years. Perhaps, it is time now for HAITI to suspend the misery of Independence to Annexation in order for its people to enjoy efficient governance and prosperity. We are just tired of our tax dollars going to Haiti to help people who do not want to help themselves.
