Charlito Baker is not a racist.
He's always cared for people.
His best friends are black people.
One of them is a good friend of mine named Tiremon, a short, very dark-skinned fellow.
I hear from Baker through him. My friend Tiremon was one of the founders of the youth group, of which I was a member, that wanted to help the peasants by giving them work and teaching them how to irrigate, use fertilizers, and other products effectively in their own land parcels.
Yes Yes, when he carried the wounded students to the hospital, he did it with his heart.
He's always done that when a worker is wounded on the field.
THe man is just a great human being.
As I wrote one time, you cannot know of every body's good work. We are at least 8 million living on the island (why you say Haiti is not an island by the way?
What is it then?
I always thought it was. I t does not matter anyway).
Some people just act and do not boast.
For instance, many people know of my generosity in the neighborhoods where I lived, but the whole country does not.
All Croix-des-Bouquet knows Mr. Baker as a good, generous, and a people's person but Petion-Ville does not, Gonaives does not until someone testifies.
Even then, people would doubt because he never managed to put a camera on himself dealing with the little guy.
The camera just happened to be there when he carried the wounded students at the risk of his own life and people give him credit for that because they saw it with their own eyes.
I am sure he would have gotten much more credit had people known of his benevolence, his deep love for the country of ours, etc.
